About this course
The OOW Unlimited oral examination assesses whether you can keep a safe navigational watch — not whether you can recite a textbook. Our programme is organised around the way the examiner actually probes: a scenario, a follow-up question, and a test of whether your judgement holds up under pressure.
Every module maps to the MCA oral syllabus for STCW regulation II/1. You will drill the collision regulations until the general impressions become instinct, rehearse radar plotting and bridge resource management in plain language, and practise answering on shipboard operations from mooring plans to pollution prevention.
Live clinics run twice a week so you can test yourself out loud — the skill the oral actually examines — with recordings available if you are at sea.
