About this course
At 3000 GT the oral examination widens: the examiner expects a master's grasp of commercial legislation, ISM code obligations, port state control exposure and the management of a larger crew — alongside flawless navigation and COLREGs.
The programme maps every element of the STCW II/2 syllabus as applied to 3000 GT vessels. Modules alternate between knowledge consolidation and scenario rehearsal, because the 3000 oral is above all a test of how you think as a master.
Live clinics twice a week put you in front of serving Masters who have sat on both sides of the table, and the question bank is built from examiner-style prompts that probe the boundaries of each topic.

Testimonials
Candidates who sat Master 3000
“I had failed the oral once before using other material. The difference here was the scenario rehearsal — answering out loud to a serving Master every week rebuilt my confidence. Passed with three weeks of preparation.”
Michael Johnson
Chief Officer, superyacht · Master 3000
“The meteorology module changed how I brief my own watch. I can actually read a chart now instead of just quoting the forecast, and it showed in the oral.”
