About this course
The 3000 GT ticket opens doors across the superyacht and small commercial fleet, and the oral reflects that world: expect questions on anchor work, tender operations, passenger safety and the practical business of running a smaller deck team.
The programme follows the MCA oral syllabus for STCW II/1 applied to 3000 GT vessels. You will build fluency in the collision regulations, watchkeeping and passage planning, then rehearse the vessel-specific scenarios the examiner uses to test judgement rather than memory.
Live clinics twice a week give you the speaking practice the oral demands, and every module ends with examiner-style prompts to keep your revision honest.
Who it’s for

Testimonials
Candidates who sat OOW 3000
“Being at sea made attending a classroom course impossible. The recorded clinics meant I never fell behind, and the question bank was spot on for the tone of the real examination.”
Emily Davis
OOW candidate, commercial yacht · OOW 3000
“The meteorology module changed how I brief my own watch. I can actually read a chart now instead of just quoting the forecast, and it showed in the oral.”
